Then join this enjoyable outing and board a rigid inflatable boat - RIB - to explore Bergen's harbour and adjoining fjords. A short walk from the pier will see you reach the RIB landing stage, where you will then be issued with gear and given a short safety briefing. Norway's second city has undergone various transformations over its 900 years of history. On this tour, see for yourself how the Black Plague, fires, politics, and industry have shaped beautiful Bergen. After leaving the pier, you'll pass the 13th-century Haakon's Hall and the Rosenkrantz Tower en route to Bryggen, the historic Hanseatic Wharf, an area once devastated by fire but later rebuilt and now bustling with life. Continue past the fish market towards Magic Ice, a wondrous art gallery experience. Both the sculpture exhibition and the interior design are made of clear ice! Enjoy a drink served in a glass chipped out of an ice block while exploring this magical world. Then drive past the picturesque houses of the Nordnes peninsula, on to the main sights in the city centre and down the city's oldest street. Finally, travel through the historic Sandviken and Skuteviken districts, with their tiny, white-painted, traditional wooden houses and colourful warehouses along the waterfront.

See the sights in comfort on this coach tour through Bergen, which was the largest city in Norway until 1830. Relax into your seat as you pass the main sights including the historic Bryggen district, with its gabled wooden warehouses from the hanseatic period and Haakons Hall, erected during the reign of King Haakon Haakonsson (1247-1261) and the most important building of the royal residence in the XIII century. Drive past Rosenkratz Tower, built in the XIII century and rebuilt around 1560 as a combined fortress and residence. We will also admire St. Mary's Church, dating back to the XII century, and splendidly Grieg Hall concert hall, home to the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.

Pass through the historic Bryggen and Hanseatic district before heading to the village of Voss. This popular winter resort is set by a tranquil lake. A train will take you through pastoral countryside and up to Myrdal, in the mountains; here we will board the Flam Line, one of the most spectacular railroads in Europe. Upon arrival in Flam that lies on Norways longest fjord (204 km), the Sognafjord, you will have a short presentation about the village before continuing to Stalheimskleivene zigzag road. Next, enjoy a lunch served in a nearby hotel. Your afternoon tour will continue by bus to Tvinde Waterfalls for a brief but worthwhile photo stop! Return to Bergen via Voss.

Leave the port and travel out of town across a variety of landscapes and passing the villages of Eikelandsosen and Mundheim on the way to Nordheimsund. Next, it will time to take photos at the Steindalsfossen waterfall  one can apparently walk behind it without getting wet! Having passed the Kvamskogen Mountain Plateau, we descend towards the Tokagjelet Gorge. With its many chalets and summerhouses, Kvamskogen is a popular leisure area for Bergen locals. The tour continues with more scenic drives passing small forests: these landscapes are typical of western Norway, as small farms are dotted across the steep hillsides. Your return to Bergen will pass through mountain lakes and several suburban villages. Once arrived in Bergen get your bearings with a short guided tour past the fish market, the Bergenhus Fortress and the Rosenkrantz Tower before returning to the ship.

See the best of Copenhagen on two wheels with a little help from a pedelec, an electrically powered bicycle that assists you up to 25 km/h while you pedal. The city boasts a superb network of cycle paths, making it easy to get around to all the main sights. Your route first takes you through the park of the old citadel, Kastellet, and the Rosenborg garden en route to Sortedams Lake. From there, cycle to the zoological garden, where you can enjoy a short break to look around. Then it's back to the city centre, passing the Planetarium, the famous Tivoli Amusement Park, and the Town Hall Square. Enjoy another break independently exploring Copenhagen's historic inner city ("Indre By" in Danish). Your cycling ruote then proceeds past the Round Tower and Christiansborg Palace, then on to the new Nyhavn Harbor and the Amalienborg Palace. On your way back to the ship, you'll have time for a final photo stop in front of the world-famous statue of the Little Mermaid.

What better way to discover Copenhagen than by bicycle, the city's number 1 means of transport! The excellent cycle path network invites you to explore the sights by bike  and they come thick and fast. The tour begins with a cycle through the mighty Kastellet fortifications and the Rosenborg Castle garden to Sortedams Lake. You'll continue past the Planetarium, the famous Tivoli Amusement Park, and the Town Hall Square. Then enjoy a break in the medieval Indre By ("inner city") district, exploring Copenhagen's historic centre by yourself. After your break, cycle past the Round Tower, Christiansborg Palace, the new Nyhavn Harbor and Amalienborg Palace. Finally, before returning to your vessel, you will of course pass the most famous symbol of Copenhagen: Lille Havfrue, the Little Mermaid.

Embark yourself in this lovely exploration while enjoying at your leisure three of the main sightseeing spots in Copenhagen. Leave the pier by coach and drive directly to the Little Mermaid where you will have approx. 30 minutes to admire the beauty of Denmark's most iconic landmark, followed by a short drive to Amalienborg, current residence of the Danish Royal Family with another approx. 30 minutes to explore this exclusive quarter. This canal district is situated at the heart of Copenhagen from where you can reach within 5 minutes' walk Strøget, the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe, crossing the entire city center and leading you all the way to other main spots of the city such as the Nørreport quarter and the City Town Hall Square.

This short, but informative city tour starts with a drive to one of Copenhagen's symbols, the statue of Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid. It was commissioned in honour of the fairytale by the founder of a Danish beer brand in 1909. Although only small in stature, the mermaid is beautifully sculpted and well worth a snapshot or two. Copenhagen's stunning waterfront and the canal district in Nyhavn comes next, home to a plethora of fashionable cafés, bars, and restaurants. Next to the harbour's many historical ships, the quarter is also known for its brightly coloured 17th- and early 18th-century buildings. Enjoy a guided walk through this lively quarter before boarding the coach again and continue your sightseeing tour of the city passing by the Christiansborg Palace, the Old Stock Exchange, Tivoli Gardens and the City Hall Square where a photo stop is scheduled. Located at the southwestern end of the pedestrian street Strøget, it is one of the large squares of the city flanked by notable buildings including the City Hall, the Politikens Hus - the headquarters of the national daily newspapers Politiken - and Industriens Hus, the headquarters of the Confederation of Danish Industry. After taking a look around the square and taking some photographs of the many sculptures, board the coach again and pass by Nørreport Station and Rosenborg Castle en route to Amalienborg Palace.
