Panama City consists of two parts. Part one is Panama Viejo (Old Panama), which lies in ruins after being sacked by the pirate Sir Henry Morgan and burned down in 1671. Part two is the Panama City of today, built in 1673 on a peninsula located that is just five miles from from the original settlement sacked by Morgan.

The aerial tram travels a half-mile through the canopy of the forest. )Round-trip time on the tram is about 45 minutes, not including time spent at the lookout.) It takes you from the shadowy forest floor through the understory and into the sun-drenched canopy. It is located in 247 acres of rain forest, surrounded by exuberant flora and fauna typical of Panama.

Gatún Lake was created during the building of the Panama Canal because raising the water level across the isthmus meant that excavations did not have to be so vast. A large earthen wall was built, villages were flooded and the water rose to form Gatún Lake.

Head up the coastline to El Casco Antiguo and learn about the piracy that was rampant here in the old days and forms an integral part of this area's history. On a leisurely 45-minute walk, appreciate the distinctive architecture here, influenced by an interesting blend of French, Spanish and Italian styles.

Your motor coach will double as a virtual time machine as you travel back more than 600 years to a Central America few people ever experience. This is a journey into the lives of the Emberá Native tribe -- a proud people who maintain their traditions and lifestyle as it was before the Spaniards colonized Panama.

The Panama Canal Expansion has been the largest project undertaken on this waterway since its original construction. The expansion created a new lane of ship traffic along the Canal, with the construction of a new set of locks doubling the waterway’s capacity.

Board a boat with glass-bottom viewers and cross the lagoon, as you learn about Half Moon Cay and Bahamian history, culture, flora and fauna.

The lagoon comprises more than 1,400 acres of protected habitat and is home to numerous species of flora ranging from red mangroves to the ornamental silver buttonwood tree.

Stay dry while exploring Half Moon Cay’s undersea world aboard a new, fully enclosed, air-conditioned, state of the art glass-bottom boat. This vessel is equipped with two viewing areas as well as an open-air top deck, perfect for soaking up the warm Caribbean sun.

Founded in 1707, Otrobanda is the newer section of the city and its name translates to ‘other side’. You’ll see a lovely array of historic mansions as you drive past the Queen Emma Bridge -- the famous floating bridge that connects both sides of Willemstad. Traveling over another famous bridge, the Queen Juliana Bridge, is an exhilarating experience. This is the tallest bridge in the Caribbean, you’ll find yourself 185 feet above sea level with expansive views of the city and harbor below.

This tour gives you a chance to experience two highlights of Curaçao -- the Hato Caves and the famous city center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Beach Express takes you to the ‘other side’ of the island where nature reigns and the beaches are unspoiled.

Drive through Willemstad, heading westward through the city and out into the countryside. Along the way, you’ll see several plantation homes and old slave houses.

An exciting interactive dolphin program for all ages, this is an adventure you will never forget.

This excursion includes relaxing on a tropical beach, appreciating history and culture, and taking in some beautiful natural landmarks.

Climb aboard an air-conditioned motor coach and visit the Cayman Islands Brewery to see how the only beer brewed on the island (Caybrew) is made and bottled. See the brewing process from start to finish and of course there’ll be time at the end for a sample.

At the Cayman Island Yacht Club, you'll board the spacious Allura sailing catamaran and head across the beautiful waters of the North Sound to the stingray sandbar. Feed and pet dozens of wild southern stingrays -- they'll literally eat out of your hand.

Journey into downtown George Town and view several of the city’s most famous landmarks -- Fort George, the Legislative Assembly building, Heroes Square, the Peace Memorial and many of the numerous banks for which Grand Cayman is famous.

Board a state-of-the-art semi-submarine developed for comfort and maximum viewing of the shallow reefs. It departs from the dock right by the cruise ship pier in George Town. The vessel does not submerge; instead you descend into the hull of this cruising underwater observatory and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water.

Hop aboard an air-conditioned bus and head south through the historic South Sound area, past Smith Cove and along the coast, to explore the colorful history and wildlife of Grand Cayman.

Start off with a brief lecture followed by time in the shallow water getting familiar with the dive equipment for approximately 1½ hours.

A short transfer from the dock brings you to the dolphin facility of Cayman where the experience of a lifetime takes place. After a brief orientation you will have 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins. Don’t miss this chance to kiss, pet and interact with a dolphin on a submerged platform. Share this up-close occasion with your friends and loved ones.

The rail line passes through incredible landscapes showcasing Costa Rica’s storied Caribbean region. Stops are frequent, so you can enjoy glimpses of dense wildlife -- sloths, monkeys and other colorful creatures that live along the tracks.

Your day begins with a very short drive to Parque Vargas. Set out on a walk that acquaints you with the park and with the small seaside City Hall and ending at the famous "Pasaje Cristal", an informal art exhibit. Here you will enjoy paintings, sculptures and other Costa Rican art. Continue to view beautiful Uvita Island just offshore -- this is where Christopher Columbus landed in 1502 on his fourth and final voyage to the New World.

Head west, passing small towns and following a winding road near the Banano River, with majestic views and lookout points along the way. Alongside the river banks, a Costa Rican-style picnic (weather permitting) is set up and you will be treated to seasonal fruits, soft drinks, bottled water and bizcocho snacks with Lizano sauce.

Discover the Aviarios del Caribe Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica -- a premier attraction made famous on the popular Animal Planet Meet the Sloths series. You’ll get acquainted with the marvelous, if sedate, world of the sloth less than an hour from Puerto Limon.

Depart the pier for a short drive to the all-metal United Fruit Company building, built in 1904. Here, you will see several stations offering food exhibitions as you guide introduces you to some of the unique cultural items found here. Sample traditional turnover, roasted chocolate, fruits, natural drinks, and cocoa butter balm for lips and body (at your own expense).

Enjoy a panoramic drive by comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach, passing through one of Limón’s oldest neighborhoods. Cieneguita was settled by the early Jamaican settlers of Costa Rica, and they built their houses on stilts. The conditions of the day involved coastal swamps, landslides, flooding, jungle fevers and heavy rains -- all hard-won battles.

Travel by air-conditioned coach through Cartagena and the traditional residential district of Manga to admire the district’s beautiful Republican-style houses. Some have been painstakingly restored to their former glory.

Board an open-air bus at the pier to Bodeguita Pier where you will board a sightseeing boat for a cruise around Cartagena Bay. Discover the most extensive fortification in South America, a system of zones divides the city into three neighborhoods: San Pedro, with the cathedral and many.

Explore by air-conditioned coach or mini-bus on a panoramic drive through the city that had the reputation of being the most impenetrable bastion of the conquistadors. The ‘new town’ became a prosperous urban center in the relatively short time between initial settlement in 1533 and independence in 1811.

Built at the beginning of the 17th century, the ancient La Popa Monastery offers a sweeping view of Cartagena. Step into the La Popa Church to see its ornate, 22-karat gold-leaf altar. Tranquility reigns outside in the flower-filled courtyard.

Admire the marvelous Republican architecture of the Manga residential area, home to some of the most ornate mansions and beautifully sculpted homes of Cartagena.
