Travel to some of the breathtaking resort areas on the south side of Gran Canaria on this journey to the protected dunes of Maspalomas, the resort of Puerto Rico, and Puerto Mógan, the “Little Venice of Gran Canaria.” Begin your journey with a one-hour scenic drive, arriving in the south side of Gran Canaria. Have your camera ready for incredible photos of Maspalomas’s stunning sand dunes. This natural protected area offers wide sandy beaches, beautiful shallow waters, and a perfect year-round climate. Finally, you’ll arrive at the stunning Puerto Mógan, known as the “Little Venice of Gran Canaria.” Stroll the charming streets, marveling at the blue and yellow piped cottages, wrought iron balconies, and floral lanes before returning to the pier

Travel to Tilos de Moya on the north end of Gran Canaria, part of the protected Doramas Natural Park, to walk through a canyon that includes a small spring that feeds rich vegetation all over the valley. As the canyon narrows, gaze at the side walls rising more than 328 feet high. Los Tilos has a large number of endemic plants, which include some trees from the Laurisilva forest, an ancient forest unique to the Macaronesia region. After hiking for some time, you'll arrive at the pretty town of Firgas, or the Village of Water. This is the source of a mineral water that's popular throughout the Canary Islands. Adjourn to a local restaurant, where you'll feast on local specialties.
