An entertaining day of cultural sightseeing awaits you here, starting with a 1.5-hour coach ride to the historical city of Girona. You'll head for the excellently preserved Jewish quarter for an external look at the Isaac el Cec Jewish Centre, the site of 12th-century Romanesque baths, also called the Arab Baths due to their Moorish appearance. Moving on again, you'll then head for the town of Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Once in town, you'll first have time to get lunch on your own, after which you'll pay the fascinating Dalí Theatre and Museum a visit. The museum incorporates the building that housed the town's theatre during Dalí's childhood and is also the place where one of the young artist's first public exhibitions was staged. Apart from giving you a chance to view a huge collection of Dalí works, including 3D installations like the Rainy Taxi and the anamorphic room  the Sala Mae West  in which the face of Mae West is revealed when viewed from a certain angle, the museum is also Dalí's final resting place with the crypt located under the stage. During the 19th century Gammarth was a favourite spot for wealthy Tunisians to spend their vacations and today it remains an attractive tourist destination with sandy bays and picturesque coastal scenery. It offers some of the most extensive and beautiful beaches around Tunis and exclusive resorts. It is in one of these resorts that you will spend three hours relaxing, lying in the sun, sipping a welcome drink, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean or simply enjoying the moment. At the appointed time, a coach will take you back to the port of Tunis and the ship.

Shopping, shopping, and more shopping, but also a kaleidoscope of colours, scents and flavours await you on this relaxing half-day excursion. Leaving the port of La Goulette, the excursion begins with a panoramic drive through Tunis' modern districts before reaching its historic centre, the Medina. Then, take a stroll with your guide into the colourful world of the Medina, exploring the streets of this lively district and dedicate some time for shopping, of course Arabian style. When you are in Tunis and you think of ancient history, the first site you think of is Carthage. Today we would like to introduce you to another impressive archaeological site located just 25 km from Tunis and home to the third largest Roman amphitheatre in the country: Uthina. Not much is known about Uthina. It was an ancient Roman-Berber city, built by the Romans on a pre-existing Berber settlement and subsequently abandoned in the 5th century. Enjoy a guided walk inside the archaeological site and visit the nearly fully restored Hadrian-era amphitheatre dug into the hillside and which could hold about 16.000 spectators. Continue to a local farm where you will take part in a tasting of local products and recover your strength before starting a walk through a eucalyptus forest. Have fun collecting some of the leaves of this plant, which will then be distilled; each participant will receive a small bottle of eucalyptus hydrosols as a gift. The hike continues with a delicious lunch and relaxation with a detox tea leaf infusion produced on the farm. The excursion ends with the return to the port of La Goulette.

Although "Cinque Terre" is Italian for five lands, the name actually refers to the five picturesque villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore that sit like little jewels along the Ligurian coastline and together count as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rugged and unspoiled Cinque Terre region is your destination on this all-day tour, which begins with a 1.5-hour coach ride to La Spezia where a specialized guide will meet you and from where you will continue to Portovenere, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Your guide will tell the story of this enchanting fishing village as you admire the panorama that inspired Byron and other Italian and international poets as a muse. You will have some free time to walk along the sea and explore the cosy streets before boarding a boat for a leisurely boat tour along the coast that intends to celebrate the region's incredible natural beauty and its well-loved ancient traditions. You will reach Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the Cinque Terre villages. You will have some free time in the historical centre, home to the early 14th-century Church of San Giovanni Battista. Explore Palermo on an electrically powered bike that will assist you as you discover the beauty of the city. After picking up your e-bike at the port, youll head for the promontory of Monte Pellegrino, 620 metres above sea level. Following a paved road, you will first reach the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, built inside a cave near the top of Monte Pellegrino. This Christmas-themed outing to the mountain town of Erice  which stands atop Mount Erice at approx. 750 m above mean sea level  begins with about 1.5 hours on the coach, after which a mere 10-minute walk will see you reach your first stop: the 14th-century Gothic "Mother Church". Continue walking through town to the Cordici Museum, whose exhibits include archaeological finds, decorative artefacts, a weapons room, paintings, sculptures and contemporary art. On reaching Erice's La Loggia Square, you'll have time to explore the magical Christmas market, with stalls selling wine, local crafts and food. Last on the itinerary is an outside photo stop at the 12th-century Norman Castle, which sits on an isolated cliff in the southeast of Mount Erice. Photo-worthy views of the valley and the Saline nature reserve follow on the way back to the ship.

Joining this outing is sure to give you a thorough workout as you pedal around Palermo's hinterland on an approx. 40-km route with a 600-m gain in elevation. After leaving the confines of the city, you'll first cycle through the village of Arenella to reach the foothills of Monte Pellegrino, Palermo's neighbourhood mountain. Then you'll climb 500 m on a 7km uphill trail to reach the Santa Rosalia pilgrimage site, dedicated to the patron saint of Palermo. Take a break and browse the souvenir stalls at the site before continuing onwards and upwards to reach one of Monte Pellegrino's nearby viewpoints  perfect for taking photos. Further photo-worthy vistas follow on the way down before you reach the Bay of Mondello, where a white sand beach and turquoise water await you. Time to relax or go for a refreshing swim will be yours at the beach, which is also served by numerous small cafés if you prefer to chill out with a drink. The final leg will give you one last chance to soak up gorgeous coastal views before you return to the ship. Please note: the tour involves arduous and in part uphill cycling along an approx. 40-km route and is considered to be suitable only for guests with a high level of physical fitness. Children are allowed to take part in this tour provided their height is 155 cm. A declaration of agreement must be signed by an adult with parental authority for children before authorisation can be given for such guests to take part.

This appealing outing gives you a chance to team a little gentle exercise with seeing the sights of Palermo, Sicily's capital city, on foot. Your guided walking tour begins on Via Francesco Crispi, a large boulevard leading to Piazza XIII Vittime and its monument to 13 victims of the notorious mafia. A short photo stop is scheduled there, after which you'll continue your walk down Via Cavour, then past the well-known Teatro Massimo and Quattro Canti, an octagonal square flanked by a number of Baroque buildings.
