Follow Napoleon Bonaparte’s footsteps on a historical walking tour of Ajaccio’s Old Town. You’ll pass by the cathedral where Napoleon was baptized and visit multiple squares with statues dedicated to the man himself. You’ll have an hour to explore the Fesch Museum independently and visit the floors highlighting Napoleon. Then, you’ll finish the tour with an immersive cultural experience where you’ll be served traditional Spuntinu (small Corsican plates) as you watch a film about Napoleon’s life.

At the end of your free time, you’ll join a guide to drive on to Castello del Trebbio, built in 1184. Now a family-run estate producing wine, olive oil, and pure saffron, the castle and cellars will open their doors to you for a tour and a tasting. Walk the garden and enjoy the afternoon with a panoramic view of the Tuscan hills before heading back to the ship.

Explore the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, and Giotto's Bell Tower in a guided walking tour before seeing the Palazzo Vecchio and crossing Ponte Vecchio (the only Florentine bridge to survive World War II). Then, you'll continue on to Pisa, where you'll have a free hour to explore Piazza dei Miracoli and see the famous Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Camposanto Monumentale.

After a 60-minute drive from the port, you’ll arrive in Santa Margherita Ligure, the pearl of the Italian Riviera and only a few miles away from Portofino. After arriving at a Tuscan farm, you’ll join a truffle hunting dog and its owner on a hunt in the forest for the prized culinary diamonds. Bring your finds back to the farmhouse to enjoy a homemade meal prepared with the fruits of your labor. Fragrant, lavish shavings of truffle will compliment every course.

A visit to the Italian Riviera is hardly complete without spending a day in Santa Margherita and Portofino, a small, Mediterranean port village set in a narrow cove delights with views, boutiques, and alfresco dining at every turn. You’ll arrive by ferry and follow your guide to visit the Church of St. George and the Roman fortifications-turned-villa of Castello Brown before enjoying free time to explore more.

Marina di Carrara is so named because it is the port for one of Italy’s most famous artisan products: Carrara marble, from the neighboring city of Carrara. In this tour, you’ll take a Jeep to an active marble quarry and learn how Romans used this marble to build their villas and why artists like Canova, the Pisanos, and Michelangelo would travel here to hand-select the pieces for their masterworks. Just south of Barcelona lies Sitges, a picturesque town on the Catalan coast known for its film festivals and sandy beaches. From the cruise terminal, you'll be driven to Sitges' historic Old Town streets where you'll have free time to wander the city, swim in the Mediterranean, walk along the shore, or just relax in the breeze. Afterward, you will be driven to Barcelona's international airport to make your departure flight.

Departing from the port, ride along the southeast coast of the island to Playa d’en Bossa where you can see the Torre d'es Carregador from its imposing location. Following the route, you’ll reach the Ses Salines Nature Reserve. Known for its crystal clear, you’ll go through a protected ecosystem, then to the Torre de ses Portes that looks over the isthmus separating Ibiza and Formentera. The final destination will be in D’alt Vila, a gorgeous World Heritage Site, before returning to the ship.
