Visit Mount Carmel and the ancient town of Acre. Your route takes you via Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery to Panorama Ave, named for its astonishing view of the city, Haifa Bay, the coastline, and all of northern Israel. Stop to view the Bahá'í Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from the upper terrace. These are the largest hanging gardens in the world. The shrine is the second holiest place for the world's Bahá'í community. Continue your drive down Mt. Carmel, leaving Haifa and crossing the bay to Akko (Acre), the oldest city in the northern region. More than 4.000 years of recorded history will unfold before your eyes as you walk through Acre's narrow cobblestone passageways and colorful bazaar. The present-day town was built in the 18th century on the ruins of the 12th-century Crusader city. Acre has changed hands and names many times over the millennia, but since 1948, it has returned to its biblical name of Akko. Visit the Crusaders' Halls, built by the Hospital Knights (the Knights of St. John) and the subterranean Crusader city. Walk past Al Jazzar's Mosque, built in the 18th century, through the bazaar to the port and Khan el-Umdan (Inn of the Pillars), a handsome 18th-century caravanserai. Then descend to the 12th-century level again to visit the unforgettable Templars' Tunnel. This amazing engineering feat is a tunnel more than a thousand feet long, carved through solid stone, connecting the fortress (no longer standing) to the port (still intact). As its name implies, the Knights Templar constructed the tunnel, the Crusaders charged with guarding the temple in Jerusalem. The Saladins forced the Templars to retreat to Acre, which was their last bastion in Israel until the Fall of Acre in 1297. The tunnel will lead you to the lighthouse and the sea wall. You will have some free time to shop in the bazaar before returning to Haifa and the ship. If you are in need of relaxation and revival, you will not want to miss this great day out in the historic city of Massada with the chance to bathe in the relaxing mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea. An approx. 3.5-hour coach drive will take you to Massada via Ared, heading towards one of Israel's historic spots where scenes of battle, power and revolt played out with tragic results. Herod the Great had a fortress and a palace built on the Massada Plateau between 37 and 31 BC as a personal refuge in case of revolt. The plateau, situated 442 metres above the Dead Sea, was also the last point of resistance by the Jewish Zealots against the Romans, where 960 Zealots committed mass suicide by in 72 BC rather than surrender to the Romans. It is partly for these reasons that Massada is the most visited site in Israel after Jerusalem. As Massada is located high on this rocky plain we will need to ascend the mountain via cable car and once at the top, we will visit one of the oldest synagogues in the world. From these lofty heights, we will descend to the lowest point on earth - the Dead Sea - located 400 metres below sea level. Because of the high salt content, the water of the Dead Sea is undrinkable and cannot support life; hence its name. However, the salts have rich health benefits, therapeutic qualities, and the very high levels of saline help bathers to float! A lunch made of traditional food will be in a leading restaurant before returning to the port. A place of miracles in ancient times and a popular spot with tourists and pilgrims today, this excursion covers another important sight of the Holy Land  the Sea of Galilee. This large water mass is not actually a "sea" but a lake: the largest freshwater lake in Israel and located near the Golan Heights. It was here that Jesus conducted most of his ministry activities and where many of Jesus' miracles happened, such as walking on water and the "Feeding of the 5000". We will drive to Nazareth, the largest city in the North District of Israel and the childhood home of Jesus, according to the New Testament. Many guests will be interested in paying a pilgrimage to the surprisingly modern "Basilica of the Annunciation", a church built on the site where the Gabriel announced the news of Jesus' birth to the Virgin Mary; visitors can see the underground grotto where Mary received the Annunciation. Next, we will reach Capernaum, the ancient city of Galilee; the town is mentioned in the New Testament in the Gospel of Luke and is reported to be the home of the Apostles Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew. We will walk around the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus taught on the Sabbath and prayed. Proceed to Tabgha that is, according to tradition, the site of three of the most important episodes of the New Testament: the Sermon on the Mount, the miracle of the loaves and fishes and the appearance of Jesus after Resurrection. After lunch you will proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, the hill from where Jesus gave his famous "Sermon on the Mount" and where Pope John Paul II celebrated a mass in March 2000. Come with us on a 2-hour drive to Jerusalem, one of the most inspiring cities in the world and renowned for its historical significance, spiritual symbolism, and visual splendour. Your excursion will begin with a stop at Mount Scopus to enjoy the breathtaking view. The visit continues with a walking tour through the old town of Jerusalem. Pass Dung Gate, the Western Wall - the remains of the second temple destroyed by Romans in 70 AD and the most sacred Jewish shrine in Jerusalem. Walk along a part of the "Via Dolorosa", considered by Christians to be the holiest road in the world, the path where Jesus was led to death. You can also admire the Church of the Holy Sepulchre without entering the tomb. A stop to enjoy a lunch based on traditional food will be followed by a trip to a souvenir store in Jerusalem, from where we will drive back to Haifa port. Having a pleasant drive through Kusadasi town you will arrive to Pamucak Bay where Aqua park is located. As long as you arrive you will get short brief about safe boxes and the water park facilities. Then, fun time! You can enjoy all activities: waterslides, wave pool, lazy river, surf pool. Enjoy some time of excitement, adrenaline and pack of fun or simply lay down next to pool and work on your tan. At the end of the tour you will be driven back directly to the port.

Adventure, adrenaline and fun await you on this off-road excursion. Beg?n with a coach drive to Pamucak Bay and the jeep park where you will be briefed about your itinerary and safety. Then, board your jeep and begin your adventure driving along narrow roads and passing through many villages, including Bahcecik, Yenikoy and Cinar. A short stop at the village of Gokcealan is scheduled for you to sip a cup of Turkish tea. Board the jeep again and reach the gate to Ephesus, the place where the statue of the Virgin Mary is located; a good opportunity to take some photographs and have an external view of the wide archaeological site. After enjoying lunch, you will reach Pamucak beach where you will have a chance to do sandsurfing and have short break for swimming. The tour concludes with the return to the port.

Leave the port and reach Ephesus, one of the most important cities of the ancient world, on the border between east and west. Founded along the coast, the city was a flourishing trading town until the 4th century, when it was finally abandoned in the 8th century. Once at the site, you'll feel as if you've stepped back in time two thousand years. Follow your guide to discover the wonders of this ancient city, whose most famous monument is the Library of Celsus. Built by Tiberius Julius Aquila to perpetuate the memory of his father, the library was destroyed by fire but still retains a splendid marble façade with 4 statues positioned in the niches and representing the 4 virtues of Celsus. Admire the Agora, the large square where commercial activities took place, the marble street where many of the shops where situated and the remains of Hadrian's Temple, of which only two columns supporting an arch remain. The visit continues with the theatre, built in a scenic position on the side of the hill and which could seat up to 14.000 people, and the baths. Ephesus had four bath complexes, the largest of which still has two halls finely decorated in marble. Finally, follow your guide in a typical shop for a shopping opportunity before returning to the port.

Designed to give you a one-day overview of three of the best tourist sites around Kusadasi, this full-day excursion combines faith, ancient history, culture, and shopping.

Whatever your religious faith, this half-day excursion includes visits to two unique sites: St John's Basilica and the House of Mary. Leave the port for a 45-minute coach drive to the House of the Virgin Mary, a place sacred to both Christians and Muslims. It was discovered in the 19th century based on information found in the diaries of a German mystic nun. The site is officially declared a shrine of the Roman Catholic Church and was visited by Pope Paul VI in 1967 and Pope Benedict XVI in 2006. It is considered to be the place where the Virgin Mary spent the last years of her earthly life around the end of the first century. You will visit the site, which consists of a small chapel with a single room housing the statue of the Virgin in the centre, a small side room where the Virgin is believed to have slept, and an outer wall where pilgrims leave their prayers on small pieces of paper. Boarding your coach again, your next destination will be the ruins of St. John's Basilica. Built in the 6th century, the church stood over the spot where St. John is supposedly buried. The Basilica had a cruciform plan with four domes along its longitudinal axis and a pair flanking the central dome to form the arm of the cross. Under the central dome was the tomb of St. John. After the visit, follow your guide in a typical shop for a shopping opportunity before returning to the port.

A plunge into ancient history is what awaits you on this interesting full-day excursion. A 35-minute coach drive will take you to Sole village to visit the famous ancient site of Miletus which was the oldest and the most powerful of the twelve Ionian cities in Asia Minor. In ancient times, Miletus was located on the coast at the mouth of the River Meander. Its four harbors and strategic location on the west coast of Asia Minor made it a major player in the commerce of the ancient world. Miletus is also renowned as the first city to which the principles of modern town-planning were applied. The grid plan introduced by Hippodamos was later to form the basis of town-planning in all Roman cities. You will see the ruins of the theatre, thermal baths and the stadium before visiting the newly opened Archaeological Museum and admire the wonderful artifacts taken from the many ancient sites of the area. A stop for lunch will allow you to take a break, taste a delicious meal and recover strenght for your next visit. In antiquity, Miletus was connected to Didyma by a sacred road and pilgrims walked 12 miles along this Sacred Way to participate in the annual spring festival, the Didymeia. At the Ancient Didyma, visit the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, one of the largest temples from the Helenistic Period. Steps lead up to 103 Ionic columns, some still pointing up to the sky. Despite extensive construction, the temple was never fully completed but although incomplete, it is enormous and impressive: it is the third largest in the ancient world after those of Ephesus and Samos. Before concluding the tour with the return to the port, you will have a shopping opportunity in a typical shop with your guide.

This incredible experience begins with a coach drive to Horse Paddock at Pamucak Bay. You will receive a briefing about your ride route and your safety during the transfer. Once at the Horse Paddock, you will be handed a helmet and, a horse, of course. The first part of the itinerary will see you reach Pamucak Beach where an approx. 40 minutes stop is foreseen. Those who have riding experienced will be allowed to gallop on the beach but everyone will have the opportunity to get into the water with the horse. After this unique experience, the coach will take you back to the port.

This excursion is ideal for those who prefer to explore on their own but will still like a short introduction on the way. We will drive to Larnaka, the oldest living city in Cyprus and originally known as Kition, the birthplace of the Stoic philosopher Zeno. Linked to early Christian times, Larnaca is a special place for Christians as the town's bishop was St. Lazaros (Lazarus) who chose to spend his "second life" here after Jesus raised him from the dead. A church built in his name exists on the spot where his remains were said to be found. When we reach Larnaca, you will have free time to explore on your own. We will then return to Limassol via Lefkara, a village famous for its traditional style of lace embroidery, known as the "Lefkaritika". Also, here there will be given free time to explore the village by yourself, before returning to the port.

Paphos is an ancient town located on the southern coast of Cyprus, 1 hour far from Limassol. Our first stop will be the Paphos Archaeological Park to visit the house of Dionysus, a luxury building of the Roman periods with rooms placed around a courtyard and destroyed by an earthquake in the 4th century. The house is famous for its beautiful floor mosaics that date back to the 3rd-century depicting scenes of mythology and hunting. The tour continues with a drive to St. Neofytos to visit the 12th-century "Egkleistra", an enclosure carved out of the mountain by the hermit Neofytos. The enclosure contains fine examples of 12th- to the 15th-centuries Byzantine frescoes. The Monastery contains an interesting Ecclesiastical Museum. You will have free time to stroll around this picturesque Paphos harbour which is located next to the Arcaheological Park. A short photo stop at Aphrodite's Rock, birthplace of the Greek goddess of love, is also on the itinerary and concludes your excursion.

The island's third largest city situated by a picturesque salt lake, Larnaca is the destination of this half-day excursion. After leaving the ship, an hour-long coach journey takes you to ancient Kition, home of the philosopher Zeno. The guided tour of the city centre takes you through its quaint old town, which boasts attractions including the old fort, now a museum, and the church of St. Lazarus. The excursion continues with a coach ride along the salt lake to reach Hala Sultan Tekesi, or the mosque of Umm Haram, built in 1816 over the tomb of Umm Haram, a relative of Prophet Mohhamed. After the visit to the mosque, the tour concludes with the return to the port.

This excursion may well take in the sights of Apollo, but we will also be paying homage to the Greek god Bacchus as we learn also about island's history of wine! Our first stop is at the Temple of Apollo, the largest and most important religious centre on the island and which was in continuous use from the VIII century BC to the IV century AD. We will continue to the nearby village of Kolossi to visit the castle, left over from the time of the Crusaders in Cyprus. The XIII century Kolossi Castle is linked to the history of wine production on the island, in particular to the manifacture of the local Commandaria wine. Our tour includes a visit to the Cyprus wine museum to learn about the 7500-year tradition of winemaking in Cyprus. Naturally, we will have time to sample a glass of Cyprus wine before returning to the port.

A short drive by coach takes you to the remains of the ancient town of Kourion, which survived from antiquity until the early middle ages, and is considered the most important archaeological site on the island. Overlooking the bay of Episkopi, the site is a constant discovery thanks to ongoing excavations that bring to light new treasures. The guided tour will let you discover the fully restored Greco-Roman theatre and the House of Eustolio with its beautiful floor mosaics. You will learn that the House was originally a Roman villa and then was turned into a public recreation centre. The excursion continues to Omodos, a picturesque small town located inland at 800 metres above sea level, and well known for the wine that is produced in the surrounding area. You will visit a local winery for a delicious wine-tasting session including the Zivania, the Cypriot pomace brandy. Then, take a stroll in Omodos, explore its perfectly preserved historical centre and visit the Church of the Holy Cross. Tradition has it that a piece of the rope with which Jesus was tied to the cross is kept in the church. The tour ends with your return to the ship.

Visit the mosque and return to the port.

Next to an amazing nightlife, cosmopolitan atmosphere and beautiful landscape, Mykonos is also home to a slew of gorgeous beaches, some of which you will be discovering by boat on this appealing half-day tour. Only a short coach ride from the pier will see you reach Agios Ioannis, from where a local kind of boat known as a caïque will take you on a sun-kissed sail around the islands southern coastline. Feel the breeze in your hair and soak up the views as you pass Ornos, Psarou, Platis Gialos, Paranga and Super Paradise beaches  some of the best on the island. Depending on the weather, swimming stops are also scheduled in the vicinity of selected beaches, so its worth having your swimwear on under your clothes. A chance to go ashore at Paradise beach and enjoy the facilities also forms part of the outing, as do delicious cold Greek snacks on board the caïque as you make your way home. Please note: the tour runs from June to September, but is available only for guests on board MSC Poesia. Beach stops are not scheduled (with the exception of a stop at Paradise beach), but swimming will be possible directly from the caïque.

Nestling in a secluded cove on the southern shoreline of Mykonos lies one of the island's longest beaches  Kalo Livadi  and your destination on this appealing half-day seaside treat. Pop your swimwear on under your clothes, leave the ship and spend a mere 30 minutes on a coach to reach the idyllic setting, perfect for some serious relaxation on pristine sand while lounging on a sunbed. The shallow and crystal-clear Aegean Sea is an open invitation to paddle or swim, whereas the many tavernas that flank the beach make an ideal spot to savour the views with a refreshing drink in hand. You will have about 3 hours to enjoy the beach whichever way you like before the coach then returns you to the ship.

Fabulous beaches, a windmill-dotted landscape, friendly locals and a particularly lively night-time clubbing scene have all gone to make Mykonos the popular holiday destination it is today. This tour will see you leave the ship, hop on a local, public seabus for a short trip to the old port to enjoy an evening of Greek hospitality and a light dinner in a restaurant. In addition to delicious local specialities and wine, you will also get to enjoy a folkloric show while at the restaurant. You can even join in yourself and shake a leg or, if you prefer, simply clap in time with the music. The tour also includes a guided walk around the narrow lanes of Mykonos town, full of whitewashed houses and enclosed gardens. After a short boat trip, your exploration of Delos' historical remains and rich mythology can begin. Legend has it that Zeus took a shine to the beautiful Leto, in the course of which affair she fell pregnant. However, this drew the ire of Zeus' wife, Hera, who promptly forbade Mother Earth to give Leto refuge. Just when all hope seemed to be lost, a serendipitous island  Delos  rose out of the sea, giving Leto a safe haven to deliver twins Artemis and Apollo. Popular as a pilgrimage site among ancient Grecians, Delos became one of the wealthiest shrines of antiquity. Among the remains of this era is the Avenue of Lions, so named for a row of originally 7th-century Naxian-marble lions that seem to guard the spot where Leto is said to have given birth. You can then crown your exceptional experience by taking the path up to Mount Cynthos, from whose peak Zeus is said to have watched the birth of his twins. Do not let the uphill hike deter you, for the mind-blowing view from the peak is worth every step. Round out your visit by exploring some of the numerous other monuments at the site before beginning your return journey to your port. While a generous portion of sun, sea and sand at Yabanaki Beach tops the bill of this enjoyable tour, it begins with a panoramic coach ride to Athens, passing the 5th-century defensive port of Zea on the way. A coach-based roundup of Athens main landmarks then follows, after which you'll continue on to the seaside resort of Varkiza and Yabanaki Beach. This well-appointed location offers all the usual beach amenities, several water-based activities, and a number of Greek tavernas should you fancy a drink or something to eat (at extra cost). You'll be able to spend about 3 hours at the beach before the coach picks you up again for the journey back to the ship.

Leave the port of Piraeus and enjoy a 1.5-hour drive by coach through the Greek countryside to Corinth Canal, where a short stop will be made to observe the boats that will very likely be passing through the narrow waterway. Separating the Peloponnese peninsula from the Greek mainland, the canal is 6.4 km in length, only 21.3 metres in width and was dug at sea level, which removed the need to build additional locks along its course. After swapping your coach for a small boat, you will embark on a leisurely and enjoyable trip along the canal. The steep embankments of the waterway are a testament to the engineering nightmare that building the canal posed. A snack will be served during your boat trip, at the end of which you will begin your return journey to Piraeus and the ship.

Take some time out to visit two of the most famous places in Greece on a tour devoted to delivering maximum entertainment and insight into the chosen locations: the perfectly proportioned Parthenon and the thoroughly impressive Corinth Canal. After covering the short distance from Piraeus to Athens' upper city, you will pass through the Propylaea Gateway to reach the monument that embodies classical Greece: the Parthenon atop the Acropolis. Dating back to 432 B.C., the imposing Parthenon overlooks and affords gorgeous views of the no less beautiful Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and Athens' old town. Next up is the colossal structure of the Corinth Canal. Separating the Peloponnesian peninsula from mainland Greece, the narrow canal was carved out of solid rock and completed in 1893, but only after many and varied obstacles had been overcome. After boarding a local boat in the village of Isthmia, prepare to be awe-struck as you cruise down the canal with perpendicular walls rising steeply to either side. Once back on terra firma, you will also have a chance to take some photos from the lofty height of a bridge spanning the canal. Your tour will then draw to a leisurely close with your return drive to Piraeus and your ship.

When near Athens, visit the Acropolis - arguably the city's most prominent landmark - but this time with an augmented reality twist. The all-day outing begins with a short coach drive to Athens, the capital of Greece, and the famous location. You'll then have to climb approx. 80 steps to reach the ancient complex at the top of Acropolis Hill. Once you've been kitted out with a smart device, you'll then get to enjoy an augmented visit and see images of how the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike or the Erechtheion would have looked in their heyday. At the end of your AR visit, you'll continue on foot through the Acropolis pedestrian zone to reach the New Acropolis Museum. Spend a few hours on dry land to experience Athens from two very different perspectives: from the lofty heights of Mount Lycabettus, the tallest peak in the vicinity, and then at ground level in the city's sprawling historical quarter, the so-called Plaka District. Your Athenian adventure begins with a round-up of the city's main sights by coach, after which you will head out to the foothills of Mount Lycabettus. The Lycabettus Funicular Railway will then be responsible for aiding your ascent up the mountain  a spine-tingling experience in itself. At the top, you will be rewarded with spectacular, 360° views of Athens and the surrounding area. You will have plenty of time to spend enjoying these exceptional surroundings at your own pace before your journey begins back to Piraeus and your ship.

This excursion is ideal for those unable to climb the steps to the Acropolis but who wish to gain an overall impression of Greece's capital city. We will meet our guide at the port and board the bus for an excursion that covers the key attractions. As we drive from Piraeus to Athens, our guide will point out the main ancient and modern sites including Hadrian's arch, the statue of Lord Byron, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Constitution Square, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Our tour will continue past the National Gardens, the Panathinion Stadium, the Academy, the University, and the National Library. You will be able to see the Acropolis from a distance and we will break to take photographs before proceeding to Plaka. Built between 447 and 432 B.C., the Parthenon temple was originally dedicated to the Greek goddess Athena, was then converted to a Christian church in honour of the Virgin Mary in the 5th-century A.D. and was finally turned into a mosque, for which a minaret was added to the complex, in the 15th-century. Today, the Parthenon is widely seen to be an abiding symbol of ancient Greece and as the birthplace of modern democracy. To save your feet, the scenic tour will take you to see all the main attractions of this profoundly historic city from the comfort of a modern coach. You will have time to visit the amazing National Archaeological Museum - an archive of rare artefacts that knows no rival - and the meticulously restored old part of Athens, the so-called Plaka district. Board the vehicle and start your adventure driving to Akrotiri, located on the southern end of the island, an amazing lunar landscape created by the last eruption of the volcano. You'll then drive to Vlihada beach, where you will have a short break to jump in the cool waters of the Aegean Sea or to simply enjoy the views. The natural beauty of this secluded beach, framed by pumice stone hills, will enchant you. Next destination is the traditional village of Pyrgos for an opportunity to taste typical Greek snack at a local restaurant. Continue to the mountain of Profitis Elias, the highest of the island (550 m) with an incredible panoramic view of Santorini; be certain to have your camera ready for your memory book. Then take a road drive passing by the villages of Exo Gonia, Kamari and Monolithos. Your destination will be the capital of the island, Fira. Here you'll have free time to stroll through the city and admire the beautiful views of the caldera before taking the cable car down to the port of Fira to return by tender boat to the ship.

Sail through the "Caldera", the Gulf of Santorini, to the tiny, uninhabited island of Nea Kameni. The island is home to a volcano which we will visit during a walking tour and which enriches the waters around the island. More islands are in store as we continue to Palea Kameni where our boat will anchor for about 30 minutes so you can swim from the boat in the warm, sulphuric waters. You then return to Skala port to board a tender boat back to your cruise ship.

Popular as a tourist destination due to its lovely beaches, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful weather, the beautiful Greek island of Santorini is also known for the ancient city of Akrotiri, which is situated at the southern end of the island and forms the destination of this half-day tour. A tender boat will first take you on the quick ride from the ship to Athinios port, from where you will continue on an approx. 20-minute coach ride to ancient Akrotiri. Once a thriving settlement during the Minoan Bronze Age, the town was buried by a tremendous volcanic eruption in the middle of the second millennium B.C.. The cloak of lava and ash that descended on the settlement served to preserve the site, which includes pristine frescoes, pottery, furniture, an advanced drainage system and even some three-storey buildings, all of which have been uncovered since excavation work began in 1967. The 1.5-hour stay at this Minoan settlement will give you plenty of time to have a good look around and soak up the special atmosphere of this prehistoric location. The visit will be followed by a little bit of free time to visit the nearby modern village of Akrotiri, after which you will head for the village of Fira where your guide will tell you how to take the cable car down the port to catch the tender boat back to your ship.

Your relaxing beach experience begins with a short trip on a tender boat to Athinios port, after which a coach will take you to Perivolos Beach, a picturesque stretch of sand giving onto the beautiful blue of the Aegean Sea. You will have some time to enjoy beach life and the various taverns, pubs, and restaurants you will also find along the seafront. The rest of your trip will be in Fira, the capital of the island of Santorini where you can opt to have some free time in town or return to the ship on your own. You will be given instructions on how to reach the Orthodox Church and how to take the cable car back down to the port of Fira, where you will pick up your tender boat to return to the ship.

A short tender boat ride from the ship will take you to Athinios port where we will board a bus to Oia, a typical Greek village characterized by narrow streets, traditional white churches with blue domes  a picture-postcard vision of the Mediterranean! This village is famous for its hill-top location which offers a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Santorini. Enjoy a short guided walk followed by approx. 45 minutes free time before boarding the coach and reach a nearby winery where delights of a different kind are in store. Sample local delicacies made of cheese, tomatoes, olives, and bread accompanied by a delicious wine tasting session. Next on your list is the small town of Fira, located in the west of the island and perched on a cliff 260 metres above sea level. You will have free time to discover the narrow streets of the town where the predominant colour is white and blue; don't forget your camera because every corner of Fira is a great place to take panoramic pictures. Near the Orthodox Cathedral you will say goodbye to your guide, but not before being told how to take the cable car back to the port of Fira. From the port, a boat will take you to the ship.

You will have about 1.15 hours to enjoy this prehistoric site before you move on to Fira, Santorini's capital, for more free time to spend as you please. The pretty lanes are fun to walk down, the cafés great for a pit-stop and the views of the Kamenis, twin volcanic islets in the bay, spectacular. Last up is Oia, a blue-and-white village in Cycladic style perched on the very edge of the caldera. After a guided walk through its pretty cobbled streets, a stop at a local winery will give you a chance to sample local delicacies made of cheese, tomatoes, olivers and bread accompanied by a delicious wine tasting session. Next, board your coach to reach Athinios port where a motorboat awaits to take you back to the ship.

As you tender ashore to the port of Athinios you will be captivated by the hues of deep blue in the sea and by the vista of the graphic island of Santorini ahead. Enjoy a scenic ascent via the colourful rocky sides of the caldera, offering a spectacular panorama of the island. Drive to Oia, passing by many traditional villages, the crowning glory of peace and tranquillity. Built on the northern part of the caldera rim, it is here where many artists have been inspired due to its magnificent location. Walk through the village along cobble stoned streets marvelling at the wonderful panoramic views and admiring the traditional architecture. Enjoy some time to browse in tiny shops selling ceramics, paintings, and jewellery. The tour ends at Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini perched on the volcano's caldera. Here you will have the option to either stay in town for further exploration or reach the tender service station by cable car or by foot.

Time to do nothing but hang loose, stretch out on a sunbed, and ponder the meaning of life are what holidays are all about. A coach drive will take you to the private beach of a 5-star hotel along the lovely Turkish coast, the perfect location for the entire family. This half-day tour begins with boarding your coach and drive through the countryside dotted with vineyards, olive orchards and cotton plantations. As the coach climbs into the hills to Sirince Village which was an old Greek village until 1923, your guide will provide you all the details about the village's history along the way. Then, take a guided stroll through the narrow streets of Sirince and have a break to taste homemade bread with local olive oils; do not miss the opportunity to purchase some handicrafts made by the local ladies. Our next stop will be Virgen Mary statue at Bulbul mountain where you will have a stop to take photographs and get information about famous ancient Ephesus city as you have an external viewing of the theatre and the upper agora. The last part of the tour is centered on Turkish viniculture with a a drive to a local winery where you will have some demonstration with some dry fruits and nuts as you learn more about Turkish wines. A tasting is included before taking the route back to Kusadasi with a stop to do some shopping in a typical shop and get your traditional Turkish coffee.

If you want to see some of the main sites around Kusadasi but without going into detail, this scenic excursion is the right choice. From the port, your first destination will be Ephesus, the second largest city in the Roman Empire. With the side view of the big theatre, you will first drive to upper gate of Ephesus where the Virgin Mary's statue is located. After a photo stop continue to the ruins of St. John's Basilica for an external view. Built in the 6th century, the church stood over the spot where St. John is supposedly buried. Next, you will reach Isa Bey mosque, built in 137475, and one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art remaining from the Anatolian Beyliks. After a visit to the mosque, you will proceed with panoramic drive allowing you to see the old Turkish Baths and finally Artemis Temple, which was built entirely from marble, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and see what is left. On the way back in Kusadasi, a stop is scheduled in a local village to taste Turkish delicacies and to see a carpet-making demonstration.

A first stop will be at Bird Island and you will learn that the name of Kusadasi comes from this island, meaning "Island of birds". Then, meander through the colourful narrow streets of the old town with plenty of occasions to take lovely photographs for your memory book. A visit at one of the famous old house of the town is on schedule; it was the subject for several Turkish movies. Other stops are also scheduled at the Turkish bath and at the old caravansarai, built by Grand Vizier Okuz Mehmet Pasa in 1618. Another building commissioned by the Grand Vizier is Kale Ici Mosque which is next on the itinerary together with a second old house called Ibrahimake House. There will be some time to do shopping with your guide in a typical shop and to explore some hidden corners on your own before returning to the port.
