In this beautiful tour through the Baía de Todos os Santos, will embark on a maritime terminal located 50 meters from the port in schooner towards the Frades Friar Island, according to legend, the island was named after the Indians who inhabited the region tupinambás murdered two friars who went to the island in order to catechize them. During the tour we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Salvador. The Frades Island is shaped like a star, with many beaches and calm seas. The coral reefs are ideal for diving, with a maximum depth of 11 meters and visibility up to 15 meters horizontally. Among the most frequented beaches is the Ponta da Nossa Senhora, where we will stop for about 02 hours, a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The wave less sea is ideal for children. Situated in the north of the island the Nossa Senhora is the beach that is used by most of the schooners to drop anchor. During your visit you can climb the hill Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, where the ruins of an old church will offer the best view of the beach. Then continue on to the island of Itaparica, more precisely on the Ponta da Areia, the calm waters where we would be approximately for 2 hours to enjoy the beach that has become in recent years one of the major tourist destinations of the Bay of All Saints. Its proximity to Salvador, bring the schooners loaded with tourists that usually land there in the summer, seeking its picturesque atmosphere, peppered by regional cuisine served in many beach kiosks where you can have lunch and enjoy the Bahian food. It will be served in the schooner a round of tropical fruits, and a small group of Samba players for enjoyment. The schooner also offers bar service aboard selling drinks and snacks.

We will drop anchor between two reef islands that forms a kind of lagoon. The shallow side blue transparent waters you will find an abundance of colorful corals and fishes. Remember to rent your snorkeling equipment. A panoramic stop at Praia da Freguesia de Santana where the guide will tell stories from the colonial era as this place was used as a slave colony. We will also visit the Japariz Beach that offers infra-structure of restaurants and restrooms.

Snorkel equipment for rental (Mask & Snorkel - it does not include fins). The equipment rental is only available for guests on any of the Schooner tours. The equipment will be delivered at the pier before boarding the Schooner.

At the pier in the Abraão Village we will board our schooner to Lagoa Verde Green Lake, a place with shallow, crystal clear and calm waters. It is one of the only locations in Brazil that offers green corals at the bottom of the ocean, with an enormous variety of fishes and starfishes. Lagoa Verde is a perfect place for swimming and snorkeling directly from the schooner (dont forget to rent your snorkel gear). Then, we will head to Enseada do Sítio Forte one of the most pleasant spots in Ilha Grande that had a great importance in the island history and on the economic side of the fishing industry, now days the most important activity is tourism. We will be making a stop at the Maguariquissaba beach, well known for the sea turtles with infra-structure of pier, bars and restaurants. Remarks: A lunch box is included in this excursion. Fresh fruits will be served and drinks will be available for purchase onboard the schooner. The length of sailing to arrive in Green Lake may take up to 2 hours depending on the sea and wind conditions. Bathrooms are available in the Maguariquissaba beach but require consuming at the bars and restaurants. We advise guests to carry Brazilian cash if wishing to purchase drinks. This excursion will not be cancelled due to weather conditions (rain). Excursion is only available in Portuguese. Start at Abraão pier following a short stop at State Park of Ilha Grande main entrance for a briefing about the Island. From that point we will start our trekking on trails at Atlantic forest to Praia da Feiticeira hidden in an ecological paradise where we will stay for approximately 60 minutes for swimming. Learn all about Ilhéus past and future in one single excursion.
